I mean for one, we had to use a real camera and stand in front of a mirror or angle a camera just right and then wait to develop the film, only to find out we got the top of our head or one eyeball. Selfies weren’t so easy back then. I also don’t often feel good enough about myself to share my face with the world. It is what it is.

Love Hurts and so do I

Okay, so I really need to be more careful when selecting items to blog. Pout is amazing and has given us some of the older, non-updated items to blog and I grab them, thinking they’ll work for my chosen head only to find out I am very wrong. Anywho, I had to pull out my trusty old Lelutka Evo Classic head and Maitreya mesh body today. The body was because I realized I couldn’t really use Maitreya skins on Legacy bodies, oopsy!

Okay, so this outfit first. From 1313 Mockingbird Lane, this outfit is actually comprised of two items. First is the lingerie set is available at Salem Event. This set is fit for Maitreya (Petite), Legacy (Perky), and Kupra (Kups) only. This set is sold as one pack being the top, panties, and batwings and the other pack being the garter and stockings. It has 8 color options and is available as a megapack with everything included. So, I pulled a dummy move the other day and grabbed a pack not intended for the current mesh head I wear. This prompted a race for me to find a skin that would work that wouldn’t break my budget. My search lead to Glam Affair where I joined the group and got a gift from 2020 that included a BoM Lelutka classic skin, and this version of Danni was born.

Here are the Gates to Hell

We’re coming up on Halloween month and this is my sneak preview for what’s to come in October. Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday. I have always loved Halloween, from the time I was old enough to know what it was. Dressing up, becoming someone else for a day. I mean as I’ve gotten older Halloween has become more. A month-long celebration, especially in Second Life, where changing my look is a few clicks of a button. So, I hope you enjoy my sneak peek.

So this entire look and scene took several passes before I was fully happy with it. Once I was happy with it though, nothing could stop me. I’m gonna talk about my outfit first, even though it wasn’t the nexus of this blog. I’m going to place a disclaimer here and I’m sure it’s an unpopular opinion but I don’t like Twinkies. I’m sorry but the rubbery cake with nasty cream filling is just not my thing and honestly never has been. Queen of the Damned

I have mixed feelings on the movie “Queen of the Damned”. Aaliyah was superb, I didn’t like Lestat, the music was phenomenal, but so much of it was just kind of meh for me. Anne Rice is an out-of-this-world author and I really don’t think they did that story justice with the movie. Oh, well it’s just my opinion.

Enchanted Prayer

My grandmother passed away last week and I’m struggling. We didn’t get along great, as a matter of fact, I was a disappointment more often than not, but I loved her and I am going to miss her. She was my last living grandparent. I made it 43 years with a grandparent in my life and she had the joy of meeting my first grandchild, five generations that is pretty impressive. I’m not sure I believe in an afterlife but she did and I am sure she’s in heaven with my grandfather again.

I am very honored to be a part of the Enchantment team, I honestly never thought I would make it into such a large event. I am so excited to share with you these amazing creations from this event round. This naga tail from Jinx called to me, I wanted to blog it so badly and I struggled to find a pose that would work with it, but I did it and came up with a fabulous photo, or at least I think so. This tail is fit for Legacy (beta), Maitreya, and Erika. It includes 9 textures plus 5 specular and 2 normal options. It also includes a hybrid AO and gestures. Don’t Mess With Me

I was having a bad day when I shot this photo, I’m not now, but I love how this turned out and I really wanted to share it and its details. I tend to do darker-themed photos when I am in a dark place but my emotions, what little I do express, are easier to share in a photo. I hope you like it!

I’m going to start with new things. Well, they aren’t new but they’ve been updated to include BoM layers for Evo X, so that’s exciting. We’ve got the exhausted eyebags, grazed cheek & nose gash, and bloody nose, all fully updated for the Lelutka Evolution X line. This is exciting because before the updates you couldn’t use them. Love of a Lifetime

I haven’t had the best day. I’m not going to get into details but it’s been rough. I often wonder when the final straw will be with people in my life.
